Black Hill Regional Park is located in Boyds, Maryland and is part of the Montgomery County Parks system. The park has hiking trails, paved trails, picnic areas, and even a nature center. Hiking and boating are among the most popular activities to do at the park because of the great views of Little Seneca Lake and the chance to see birds and other wildlife. From spring until autumn, kayaks and canoes can be rented for reasonable prices at the boathouse near the nature center. There are also pontoon boat tours throughout the day. It is easy to spend a whole day on the lake while watching the birds–238 species have been identified in the park including bald eagles and many rare bird species.
