I like going to antique stores. Just being there I am reminded of my grandparents. Every time I go to an antique store, I find something that could be found in one of their houses. Other than for nostalgia, I am always on the lookout for things to show my dad (he likes to build furniture and even picture frames). I’ve been to a lot of places in Ellicott City, and Cottage Antiques is one of my favorite stores. It has a lot of cool stuff. I don’t really like most antiques, only wooden crafts and art. The day I went there, everything on the top floor was 50% off. I ended up buying wooden boxes for flour, sugar, coffee, and tea that are exactly like ones my grandmother used to have. The shopkeeper sold them to me for very cheap, and he even offered to hold them there while I went into other stores.
