Harper Cemetery is located on the top of the hill overlooking the Harpers Ferry historic district. Robert Harper set out these 4 acres for the cemetery situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah River.
The small walled area in the cemetery is where the Harper family was buried. Robert Harper had no children leaving most of his land to his niece. The small town have changed, but the population remained the same at around 300 similar to back in the 1860s.
