Lake Roland Park (Formerly Robert E. Lee Park) is located inside of Baltimore County and is accessible from the light rail via the Falls Road stop. The park features a dam which holds back the man-made Lake Roland, a dog park, and many hiking trails. The trails throughout the 500 acre park have beautiful views of wildlife in habitats such as wetlands, hardwood forests, meadows, and serpentine barrens (similar to Soldiers Delight). Part of the trail is a raised walkway (pictured below) which provides opportunity to see deer and other animals.
