Stony Man is the second highest peak (3765 ft) in Shenandoah National Park. Stony Man and Little Stony Man are the two of the most scenic circuit hikes in the area. The Stony Man summit gives you a magnificent view of the Shenandoah Valley and Allegheny Mountains along with two additional trails, Miller’s Head and Limberlost trail. Little Stony Man is a fairly easy hike around 1 mile round trip from the parking lot and the Stony Man trail is a 1.6 mile circuit from the parking lots with some steep sections.
