Big Pool is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Maryland. It is very close to Pennsylvania. Fort Frederick State Park is located in Big Pool; the park has a restored fort which was used during the French and Indian War. Part of the C&O Canal National Park is also located in Big Pool.
